I live pretty far inland, but as a former freediver, divemaster, and rescue diver, I still wanted the toughest possible bag for my med kit. When I saw this, I picked one up immediately.
It’s honestly overbuilt for what I’m using it for, which is exactly why I like it. Heavy material, solid stitching, and it just feels like it’s not going to fail when it matters. I added a small medic patch and now it’s good to go.
This thing feels like it could survive just about anything. That said, I hope I never actually have to use it, and I hope you don’t either.
Weight bags are not glamorous- utilitarian at best, they serve an important function, carrying your ballast. This bag is nothing short of "bullet-proof" (not literally, of course). Heavy duty material, equally heavy stitching, staunch, smooth zipper. This bag is perfect for the entire team's ballast. I also figured it'd be the perfect "EDC" bag. Perfect size for the wallet, cash, card, couple of cans of dip, whatever. So glad I grabbed 2!
