We added a patch of USCG-approved SOLAS tape for Hi-Viz  on the back when things go to hell and you need to be seen. Specially designed for the marine / offshore industry, SOLAS tape has an encapsulated optical design with a high reflective value that is clearly visible from every angle, both in dry and wet conditions.

The Slap Strap is made specifically for the shoulder strap of your BCD, PFD, backpacks, gear bags, etc.

Slap your favorite unit or morale patch, name tape, anything with velcro to your dive, swiftwater, tactical or EMS kit for a customized build. Perfect for dive, swiftwater and SAR Teams. Simply flip the Slap Strap around when you and your gear need to be seen during dark or nighttime operations.

Great buy!!

The Slap Straps are great for identifying your gear pre and post dive as well as identifying you on the surface and underwater. Use the reflection side for the dive and the velcro for your favorite morale patch that says who you are. I suggest getting two so you have it for both sides.

Extra hands

These "slaps" are quite versatile. Like an extra pair of hands /fingers to keep my gear from going "adrift". The Dive Pirate patch looks even more "gooder" on my kit bag marking my stuff on the dive side.

Will go on my recreational gear. You never know when you might get left behind and have to spend time on the water in the dark. As a former public safety professional it’s better to be prepared than not.

I love the slap strap. Not only does it make your gear easier to pick out, but its also functional. I love the reflector on the back, and that's what sets it apart. You can add patches to your gear, but have another built in safety/ signaling feature.
