We are in and out of the water all the time. Our sunglasses are on and off just as much. We were looking for a better alternative for keeping our shades throughout a swift water or scuba op. Our Spec Straps are the perfect eyewear retainers made from high grade silicone and coated stainless steel wire. They are adjustable to stay on your face when you need 'em to and can be stowed around your neck when things slack off. Great piece of kit, especially in hectic swift water and surf environments.

I’ve stole these on my sunglasses for wearing on the boat or on shore, but I have not got a chance to use them for good quality

So according to Kevin I was the 1st to be able to break my BADASS! BMD Spec Straps Sunglasses Retainer, but to be fair I was goin hard at FLETC, Glyn Co GA with the BP AMO guys and damn near lost my Dragon's to the briny deep. When I got back I hollared at Kev (hat in hand) and in glorious BMD fashion he sent me another Spec Strap for my shades! VIVA LOS BMD!

They fit well aren’t bulky and strong AF! I use them on my $665 Maui Jim Prescription Sunglasses.

Not only for sunglasses! I’m old and use ‘readers’ now-a-days. The spec straps are light weight and adjustable and I can keep them around my neck when not needed… although, no guarantee I’ll remember that's where I put them…
